We are especially glad that Mirela and Pavle Švaić from Jablanovac near Zagreb will share their successful business story, about turning their love for wild plants into a world-successful business and the well-known brand Agropošta. This family is sending childhood flavors in a small packages all across Europe – natural juices of wild herbs such as lavender, elderberry, mint… They have combined the best that nature gives and have found very unusual way to sell natural juices – by using the post office theme.
While their story travels from the fields to the world, Oradian team has a completely opposite path. This Zagreb start-up was also noticed by the Financial Times. Its story will be shared with us by Antonio Šeparović, CEO of Oradian who came back to Croatia from South Africa. In 2012 he started developing software that brings basic banking services closer to the poorest. And while it is quite usual for us in Croatia to walk into a bank and open an account, it is almost impossible for millions, for example in Africa. Oradian products are used by people in rural areas of the third world countries and thanks to Oradian they gain access to the financial world.
