Messages from Croats from five continents

They are always our dear and inspiring guests, read what they told us…

Prof. Jelena Nadinić, member of the Council of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Croats Abroad for Argentina, representative of the Argentine Croatian Chamber of Commerce – used the pandemic to connect with many Croats around the world – with the support of the Croatian Embassy and the Central State Office for Croats Abroad. Croats and their descendants in Argentina!

They are currently working with winemakers from the province of Mendoza to get them interested in buying Slavonian wine barrels.

Dario Mihelin, Croatian Ambassador to the Republic of China – small communities of Croats, such as those in China, are important for cooperation and can contribute to connecting and cooperating Croatian communities around the world – cooperation between communities and diplomatic missions is extremely important.

Luke Jurčević, President of the West Australian Croatian Chamber of Commerce (WACCC), and recently a member of the Croatian Government Council for Australia – a participant in MG2 from the beginning, every year representatives of this chamber are welcome guests and great friends of MG2. The Chamber is extremely active, connecting Croatian entrepreneurs with Australia – for example, they introduced the Borovo Footwear Factory in Western Australia. Every year they organize Business week, three years ago they launched the project Mladicro – Young Professionals meet and greet.

A WACCC activity called B2B Croatia and Australia Online Business Meetings is currently underway – until 15 December – and can be attended by anyone interested, and more information can be found at: https://croatiacommercewa.asn.au/events.html

Steven Živko Pavletić is a representative of the Association of American Croatian Professionals, an association with almost 2,000 members and the founder of the One Croatia initiative, of which Meeting G2 is a proud member.

The One Croatia initiative was launched immediately after the Zagreb earthquake and brings together 30 Croat associations around the world that are collecting aid for earthquake-affected areas in Croatia – the first such joint initiative since the Homeland War.

Over 12,000 donors managed to raise more than $ 450,000 and buy and donate rescue equipment – hospitals and emergency services in the Banovina area, as well as the Children’s Hospital in Klaiceva, equipment for Petrinja firefighters and the Vrbina Children’s Home in Sisak.

Niko Ilić is the president of the Association of Croatian Entrepreneurs in Austria, which has been operating for more than ten years and expands business and business opportunities, both among Croats in Austria and connecting Croats and Austrians in joint business ventures in which they are very successful.
