MG2 continues in 2020
Dear friends,
we are pleased to inform you on the great news, MG2 continues in 2020! The date is set: 16th and 17th of November. Save the date, and reserve your spot on MG2.6.
Irrespective of floods, earthquakes, global pandemics and all other crisis’ 2020 may throw at us; the Croatian business drive keeps us motivated to work together and battle on for a better tomorrow.
2020 is certainly one of the most challenging years in modern history. No matter in which continent or country you reside, without exception to the industry you work in – be it in health, economy, manufacturing, tourism, or others; with Tens of thousands conferences and rallies being cancelled or postponed, with the tyranny of distance becoming ever so more prominent, we have decided to adapt to the time and take MG2 as an online conference!
In recent months, we have had intensive discussions and debates about the future of the conference. Over the past 5 years we had great succes in creating strong business relationships between the local Croatian business network and the diaspora. This year’s MG2 will further build on the base that we have created, namely:
5 conferences; 37 panels with 220 panelists; presented 42 Croatian start-ups; a total of almost 1000 participants from 29 countries, of which more than 280 businessmen from expatriate countries who have met almost 300 Croatian companies and top domestic entrepreneurs, exporters, innovators…
New circumstances and a new way of organizing also require new partners. MG2 has acquired the services of Zagreb based marketing agency H2O. Not only does H2O share the passion of MG2, but they live it too. Run by married couple Mirna and Roko. Roko arrived in Croatia from Sydney in 2005, Mirna born and raised in Slavonija. A great example of a success story that builds the foundations and mission of our G2 Meeting Association – which is the connection between the homeland and the re-expatriated Croatia. After all, this is exactly how the MG2 Association was created – by combining several returnees from Croatian emigration with several people who were born, living and working in Croatia.
We believe that this combination of MG2 and H2O will bring added value to our efforts in bringing all Croatian business people around the world together, connecting to our beautiful business team. If the ‘Vatreni’, led by Modrić, could have played in the World Cup final, there is no reason for us all to do so together – with the Croatian economy.
We once again invite you to take full advantage of what G2 can offer to you. G2 works in two directions – facilitating Croatian products and services to find export partners; and/or providing access strong local networks for foreign capital interested in investing in RH. Our strength is in our unity. Only united can we achieve economic success.
Once again, MG 2 in 2020 will take place as an online conference under the official title MG2.6. Official dates are 16 & 17 November.
