Eugene Brcic Jones was born in Sydney, Australia, and has lived between Croatia and Australia since 1991. He was a longtime foreign correspondent for the Associated Press and has worked for leading news outlets like The International Herald Tribune and The New York Times, writing more than 2,000 internationally published articles. Brcic Jones switched to marketing/communications and PR in 2010, working across various industries for global leaders like Vodafone, KPMG, Red Bull and Heineken.

Vast experience developing, implementing and maintaining integrated end-to-end marketing, sales and communications strategies in sectors including federal government, telecommunications, FMCG’s, education, transport, health, property and construction led Brcic Jones to establish Venatus Jones d.o.o. in 2018 – a consulting agency that helps small to medium-sized enterprises grow their businesses to the next level.
