MG2 AT CSEC BUSINESS CONNECT: CROATIA AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SWISS INVESTORS

How can Croatia be presented even more strongly as an investment destination, and how can Croatian and Swiss business people be connected even further?

These topics were discussed at CSEC Business Connect 2026, held on 19 September in Dielsdorf near Zurich, at the BMW & MINI showroom of Hedin Automotive Schweiz.

The business meeting brought together 69 participants from 42 companies and institutions, and among the panellists was Meeting G2 member Tonči Petrić.

Petrić was joined on the panel by Marcel Thoutberger, Helmut Schaljo, Patrick Inauen, Bojan Batinić and Igor Matić. The discussion focused on Croatia as a place to invest and do business, on entrepreneurs’ experiences, and on opportunities to further develop Croatian-Swiss economic relations.

Švicarska hrvatska poslovna zajednica već godinama predstavlja važan most između dviju zemalja. Velik broj uspješnih hrvatskih profesionalaca i poduzetnika u Švicarskoj raspolaže znanjem, poslovnim iskustvom, kontaktima i kapitalom koji mogu pridonijeti novim projektima i ulaganjima u Hrvatskoj. Many successful Croatian professionals and entrepreneurs in Switzerland have knowledge, business experience, contacts and capital that can contribute to new projects and investments in Croatia.

Building these connections is one of Meeting G2’s core missions. For more than a decade, our Association has been bringing together Croatian business people from Croatia and the diaspora, presenting business and investment opportunities in Croatia, and creating space in which contacts can turn into concrete cooperation.

Petrić’s participation in CSEC Business Connect is another contribution to this mission: bringing Croatia closer to potential investors while further connecting Croatian business communities in different parts of the world.
