MEETING G2.11 date announced – see you in October 17-18, 2025!

Dear partners, friends, and members of the Meeting G2 family,

It has been three months since our milestone 10th conference, yet from the very start of this year, we have been planning ahead for 2025. Today, we are delighted to announce that we have finalized cooperation and the organization of MG2.11 with a small but mighty Croatian city.

We will reveal its name in the next newsletter, but for now, we can share the date: Friday and Saturday, October 17-18, 2025.

MEETING G2 PARTICIPATES IN LATVIA’S WORKSHOP ON WORKFORCE MOBILITY

There’s truth in the saying – a good reputation travels far! It seems that news of Meeting G2’s activities over the past decade has reached European institutions.

We were pleasantly surprised to recently receive an invitation from the European Labour Authority (ELA) to participate in a workshop on workforce mobility.

Currently, Meeting G2 President Antun Krešimir Buterin is in Riga, Latvia, where he shared MG2’s valuable experience with fellow participants, most of whom are from the Baltic region.

His presentation sparked great interest, as in other countries, this kind of non-profit, non-governmental organization focused on business networking is almost non-existent.

Interestingly, the idea behind Meeting G2 actually has some roots in Latvia.

Many of our friends know that the initiative was founded by Josip and Mara Hrgetić, returnees from Venezuela. While Josip is Croatian, Mara is Latvian, and in 2014, during a visit to Latvia, she learned about a business conference aimed at connecting Latvians with their diaspora through investment opportunities. That inspired the creation of Meeting G2, which we then adapted into something truly unique. Buterin expressed his gratitude to the Latvians – for an idea that we Croats embraced and transformed into a remarkable platform!
