Vukovar Business Forum – MEETING G2.12: Vukovar as a Place of Encounters, Investment and a New Future
Vukovar is a city of strong identity, deep significance and great development potential. That is why the Vukovar Business Forum – MEETING G2.12, which will take place from 21 to 23 May at the Vukovar City Museum, aims to open space for concrete discussions, new connections and projects that can contribute to the economic growth of Vukovar and eastern Croatia.
Ahead of the conference, the Mayor of Vukovar, Marijan Pavliček, said in an interview with Večernji list that Vukovar must not be only a city of remembrance, but also a city of the future, investment and new jobs. He spoke about Vukovar’s potential, the importance of economic development and the role of the Croatian diaspora in creating new opportunities for the city.

The importance of bringing the conference to Vukovar was also discussed by Antun Krešimir Buterin, President of the Meeting G2 Association, during his appearance on the Croatian Television programme Globalna Hrvatska. On that occasion, he emphasised the importance of connecting Croatian entrepreneurs from the homeland and the diaspora, as well as the opportunities that the Vukovar Business Forum – MEETING G2.12 opens for new investments, partnerships and the economic development of the city.
