Meeting G2.1. – Remember when!
Let us recall our first Meeting G2.1 Conference and the then panel discussions and our guests from whom we learnt so much and who enthralled us!
Nikola Kapraljević, Goran Vlašić, Ratko Mutavdžić, Boris Guina and Hrvoje Prpić spoke of their experiences on the ‘Innovation/Start-ups/Business Angels’ panel. Stjepan Lović, Žarko Tomašić and Gorana Grubišić participated in the ‘How to protect your investment’ panel.
Saša Bukovac from the Croatian Chamber of Economy moderated the panel on ‘Investment in Croatia with the incentive of EU funds’ and briefly explained which EU funds are available to us and the panellists were Tajana Mrkić, EBRD; Marina Marasović, HBOR; Sani Ljubunčić, MINPO; Frano Šesnić, Raza, who gave us concrete information on the possibilities for investment.
On the panel ‘How to get a loan,’ Roman Šubić from the Croatian National Bank, Nicolas Baron Adamovich of Commerzbank, Vera Maroshi of Progreso grupa, Srđan Šverko of Raiffeisenbank Austria and Zoran Kureljušić of Privredne banka Zagreb discussed the possibilities of financing a desired investment and presented some investment opportunities in Croatia.
‘We will make real changes when we lift the taboo on the topic of education,’ said Hrvoje Balen, Board Member of Algebra on the panel called ‘How to modernise our education to compete with top western countries,’ which was chaired by Tom Antičić of the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
The roundtable entitled ‘Property in Croatia – framework, trends and opportunities,’ was chaired by Tomislav Gregurić of Renova Properties d.o.o. and comprised Ivana Delalić of the Law Firm Božić and Partners; Zlatko Gregurić, EBRD; Zlatko Barović, Aplan and Dražen Nikolić, an independent expert on property investment.
Tomislav Kuljiš from Bolivia, Darrell Šarić from Canada, Mirela Rubić from Germany and Antonio Šeparović from South Africa shared their experiences on the last panel of this day of the Conference which was entitled, ‘Successful practices around the world and in Croatia’ moderated by Nevenka Weissmann from Canada.
